(01) Problem
Existing travel apps optimize for transactions — flights, hotels, reviews. None of them help you actually travel with friends, share what you found, or stumble onto a spot because someone you trust was just there. Backpacking is a social activity rendered into spreadsheets.
(02) Build
Designed and prototyped a mobile-first app where every place, route, and recommendation is anchored to a real person you follow. Built a discovery feed seeded by friends-of-friends, a planner that merges itineraries across travelers, and a map UI that surfaces context (notes, photos, ratings) from your network first.
(03) Result
Currently in private alpha with a small group of student travelers. The product north-star: did you find this place because of a person, not an algorithm.
